Chroma 6312A DC Electronic Load Mainframe The Chroma 6310A series Programmable DC Electronic Loads are ideal for the test and evaluation of multi-output AC/DC power supplies, DC/ DC converters, chargers, LED drivers and power electronic components. The Chroma 6312A DC Electronic Load Mainframe accepts 2 load modules with a combined power rating up to 600W. The loads can be operated in constant cur, constant voltage, constant power and constant resistance and may be placed in parallel for increased cur and power. The GO/NG output port is useful for UT’s pass/fail testing on an automated production line. All modules on the Chroma 6312A mainframe share a common GPIB Address to synchronize and speed up the control of the load modules and the readback of data. Or USB can be specified (Only one I/O port can be specified when ordering, not both). Each DC electronic load module has an integrated 16-bit precision A/D converter for voltage measurement with an accuracy of 0.025%+0.025% of full scale. The built-in resistive load cur sensing circuit is capable of measuring cur with an accuracy of 0.05%+0.05% of full scale. Also, short circuit can be simulated. Real time measurement of voltage and cur are integrated into each load module using a 16-bit precision measurement circuit. It also provides OC, OP, OT protection, and alarm indicating OV, reverse polarity to guarantee quality and reliability for even in the most demanding engineering testing and ATE applications. The Chroma 6312A can use a multitude of load modules with power ratings of up to 600 watts, from 0.5mA to 120A, and voltage ratings from 0.5mV to 500V.
